After looking at these shoes, I would recommend wiping the outside of the shoes with white vinegar on a soft cloth...and nothing more.
If the shoes start to smell, sprinkle powdered carpet deodorizer inside the shoes. Let that sit overnight. Then vacuum the powder out.
