Greek and Roman jewelry dates back to beads that were shaped into shells and animals. In later years, around 1400 BC, both civilizations started using gold and gems in their jewelry. The main purpose of jewelry to the Greeks and Romans was to ward off evil spirits and the ?evil eye,? given by other people. While Greek men and women rarely wore jewelry (it was mostly worn for public appearances or on special occasions), Roman men and women dressed themselves in a considerable amount of jewelry. Both Roman men and women wore rings with a carved stone on it, used with wax to seal documents. This act would carry well into medieval times when kings and noblemen used the same technique.

The history of jewelry carries on throughout several civilizations post the fall of the Roman Empire. So I just got the Lenovo laptop you are looking at. It is really really good. That's all I can say right now. I'm happy with it. I think it's a better deal than the HP one (Just looked at the pricing for both...), unless you find one cheaper... The Lenovo one is really fast, except I think I'm kinda annoyed with the boot time, but I think it can be fixed some way. I feel like I'm only on one side of the decision since I have the Lenovo one. Even thought the HP one weighs less, the Lenovo one is very light, I guarantee. This is my first Lenovo laptop, so I never knew about the Lenovos not lasting as long as the HPs... This model was made just this year, so you never know if this one will last long or not... I can play lots of games on the Lenovo laptop, too. It's not the best 3D gaming laptop, but it's still satisfying for someone who is a casual gamer. So I can give the CPU 5 stars. The battery life of the laptop is not that great... I got 6 hours at the most, but maybe I just don't charge all the way all the time...

So yeah. Hope this helps! Oh yeah... I've only had this laptop for 2 days, so it doesn't have any problems yet...
