Song: ~ I become addicted to a new song every other week or so and play it on a loop until I've had my fill of it and I move on to the next one. Currently it's "Call and Answer" by Barenaked Ladies because of Valentine's Day. Last week it was "32 Flavors" by Ani DiFranco. "Silver Lining" by Rilo Kiley is my default ringtone on my phone, and I've yet to tire of it even after hearing it frequently for months, so I would rank it at the top of my little personalized internal Billboard list of top songs.

Place: ~ Palermo Viejo in Buenos Aires, Argentina and my neighborhood here at home

Piece of clothing: ~ the gorgeous custom-made dress I wore to my debutante ball last December. My every-day favorite is a hoodie with cherry blossoms on the sleeve and a songbird on the front above the pockets.

Possession: ~ a peridot and diamond ring that my great-grandfather gave my great-grandmother for her 25th birthday and she gave to me when I turned 15. We have the same birthstone, and it's an incredibly precious item to me. Her old passports that I have framed on the wall and my current passport are close ties because she was also a wanderlust.

Band: ~ I love LA-based bands like Rilo Kiley, The Decemberists, and the Daylights (who got their start as my church's worship band!) the best.

Smell: ~ fresh eucalyptus

Instrument: ~ my mandolin and Skylark guitar are tied as my favs

Program: ~ "Mad Men." Pure genius

Weather: ~ Warm and bright with the beams of sunlight dancing on your bare arms enough to feel like a hug from nature, but not so hot you worry you'll melt. Like around 72F / 22 C.
