can resin craft flowers be painted?

I'm wondering if those resin flowers meant for pendant/brooch settings can be hand-painted. I want to make my own jewelry and i am wondering if there is any way to do this that will be of good quality.

Is there a reason you want to use the resin flowers; such as, are they pre-made or something? You can make some beautiful jewelry using the higher end air/oven dry clays, and they come pre-colored. Painting that kind of small stuff, especially more than one color . . . well, you'll definitely earn your money.

Try alcohol based inks. You can buy them in the scrapbooking section at your local craft stores, and I think they usually come in spray bottles. Of course, you'll be using a brush, but that's okay.
